Backyard Fun!

Last night we set up a hammock in the yard. When we had finished, but before testing it out, Mike asked the boys if they knew the difference between a swing and a hammock. Caleb said, “A swing is fun and goes really high and a hammock is … well like a BIG swing”. Not quite Caleb! Mike explained a hammock is used for relaxing. This is his demonstration.

Blake loved rocking in the hammock. He and I relaxed while the rest of the family entertained us on the trampoline.

Michael demonstrates the trickes I don't want them trying . . . Thanks Mike! The boys think his stunts are pretty cool. I think the camera catching him mid-air is pretty cool.

Dallin's turn!

This is Dallin showing of his Kung Fu moves. Last weekend we went on a family outing to see Kung Fu Panda. I don't know who appreciated it more, the boys or their parents. We laughed through it all and our family was quoting lines from the movie the rest of the evening. It's a must see. Needless to say, Kung Fu Panda is the newest super hero in our house.

Caleb's on.

Here Caleb tries to be like Mike.

He calls this one the flying eagle.

Time to call it a night.

That picture of Mike brought back flashbacks to the days he would pull those flips off the diving board in Springfield, VA. I remember him and our neighbor, Thomas, doing crazy flips into the pool. He'd also flip off the roof onto the tramp and do some amazing tricks. Let Caleb read this, then move the tramp next to your house. me so funny.
