Looking Forward to a White Christmas
Let it snow! Today it snowed and I'm hoping the ground will stay white for Christmas. Something about snow and Christmas go hand and hand for me. Last year it snowed for Halloween, but for Christmas the sun was out. This year things have seemed to straighten themselves out.
Yes, I've resorted to bribing the boys for smiles with candy and I'm not ashamed to admit it either. Whatever works for a cute shot!

Boy #3
The results are in...last night we went to the doctor's for an ultrasound. Our votes were cast and the winners were to be treated to Jamba Juice. Anticipation was high! Right as the nurse was going to reveal the sex of our new baby, Dallin announces he has to go to the bathroom really bad. It couldn't wait! Michael rushed Dal out while Caleb and I stayed in the room and tried to convince the nurse to reveal the big secret. She kept quiet, but as soon as Michael and Dallin entered the room she posted I't's A Boy on the screen. We got some amazing 3-D pictures of our new little guy and a DVD of him stretching and yawning. It was the neatest thing to watch. If I can figure out how to post them I will. We are so excited!

Happy, Happy Halloween!
We are excited to go out trick or treating as a family. Caleb is dressing up like a Ninja and Dallin decided last minute to copy his big brother. So we will have two Ninja's this year on Halloween night. Our camera died and we're in the process of replacing it so no pictures...sorry. Hope you all have a fun Halloween.
Some Halloween Humor!
What is a baby ghost's favorite game?
Peekaboo...
Why do mummies have trouble keeping friends?
They're too wrapped up in themselves...
What does the papa ghost say to his family when driving?
Fasten your sheet belts...
What do birds give out on Halloween night?
Tweets...
Why do vampires need mouthwash?
They have bat breath...

Back to School
Caleb and Dallin at the bus stop.
These are Caleb's buddies. The one in blue is named Allonzo and he is in Caleb's class. This morning he saw me taking a picture of Caleb and walked up to us to say, "Don't I look handsome today?" I responded that he did indeed and that I might just have to take a picture of him. To this he said, "That would be fine, but first let me tell you the secret to getting my hair to look so good. First, get lots of water on it. Second, take a comb through it. Third, make the sides spike." He added that I could do Caleb's hair that way, too, if wanted...I don't! I wish I could have gotten a closer shot of his hair style, but I thought you'd appreciate the story anyhow.
And he's off to first grade.
Dallin and I go about our day collecting rollie pollies.
Another Fine Fish!
Spaghetti Dinner
We had the pleasure of Riley's company for a week. She is a crack-up! This evening as we sat down to eat spaghetti she was trying to slurp it, but would go cross-eyed as she tried to land it in her mouth. Mike and I were laughing and egging her on just so that we could see her cute little cross-eyed face.
Dallin gets goofy, as well.
A cuter, more accurate photo of Riley.

Happy Birthday Caleb!
The Boys and Their Snake
While spending the day at their cousins, the boys found a snake, and the snake has since found a home. We told the boys we could keep him for three days and then let him go in our back yard. It's been ten days now.
Caleb likes to sit on the back stairway and hold his snake, Vexter, while watching the golfers. The other day he spotted a hawk and ran inside in order to protect Vexter.
Dal normally wants nothing to do with small creeping things. I thought this picture was especially cute, because while he casually holds Vexter the snake he obsesses over the occational ants that are crawling over his feet.
